Agility Training

Agility is one of the fastest growing dog sports in the United States. It is an obstacle course that is made up of jumps, tunnels, a dog walk, an A frame, teeter -totter and hi-walk. In competition the dog that runs the course fastest with the least faults will earn a qualifying run or “leg” in that run. You need three legs to move up in classes from Novice to Open, to Masters.

You may find that you don’t want to compete but instead concentrate on having fun with your dog. Many have found they like to learn something new with their dog and strengthen the bond they have with their dog. Watch your dog come alive when he knows he is going to class.

Your dog should have "basic obedience" and needs to be able to sit, down, come, and stay to participate in this class. Please contact us if your dog needs the "basic obedience" before taking this class.

All our Agility Instructors are "positive methods instructor(s)" who believe in rewards to get the best out of your dog. It is about learning to handle the dogs with praise, love and rewards.

For the high energy dog this is an excellent and enjoyable way to give them their much needed exercise and physical activities.

We offer two levels of Agility Training - Beginning and Advanced.
